This annual move signals the start of preparations for the 2026 Spring Training season, and Von Paris is honored to continue our long-standing partnership with one of Baltimore’s most iconic teams.
Moving a Team Takes Precision and Planning
Transporting a Major League Baseball team’s equipment is a complex operation that requires careful coordination and experienced logistics. On board the Von Paris trucks headed south are:
- 320 uniforms
- 300 hats
- 200 helmets
- 300 bats
- 800 dozen baseballs
- 10 pitching machines
Each item is meticulously packed, inventoried, and secured to ensure safe delivery. The shipment is scheduled to arrive at Ed Smith Stadium next week, right on time for the Orioles’ Spring Training preparations. Orioles pitchers and catchers report on Tuesday, February 10, with the first full-squad workout scheduled for Monday, February 16. Spring Training games begin Friday, February 20, when the Orioles host the New York Yankees at Ed Smith Stadium at 1:05 p.m. ET.
