At Von Paris Moving & Storage, we believe that being part of the community means giving back to it. This October, we’re proud to partner with House of Ruth Maryland and WMAR-2 News for the Fill the House event, a powerful initiative that helps provide safety, comfort, and stability to survivors of intimate partner violence.
Join Us for Fill the House 2025
Date: Wednesday, October 15
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Weis Markets at Towson Place
During this special event, team members from Von Paris, House of Ruth Maryland, and WMAR-2 News will be on-site collecting donations of essential household and personal care items. Our goal? To fill a Von Paris moving truck completely with much-needed supplies for women and families rebuilding their lives after experiencing abuse.
What We’re Collecting
Every contribution makes a meaningful difference. We’re accepting donations of:
- New twin and queen bed sheet sets
- New standard size pillows
- New twin and queen inflatable mattresses
- Deodorant and skin lotion
- Size 3T, 4T, and 5T toddler training pants
- New underwear for women and children
- Laundry detergent, dish soap, and sponges
- Disinfecting wipes and all-purpose cleaning spray
- Paper towels and toilet paper
- New pots and pans
- Small microwaves
